Wednesday thoughts

True rewards are those you have to work hard to earn. To be given something for free, it means nothing.

Slow progress yields true and lasting satisfaction. Build a house by laying down one brick at a time. Must not expect too much out of a workout.

After a day off, I’m back to training again. Weather is still blazing hot in the city. No goal race in the near future, but I’ll be ready when one comes up. Most likely I will do a half next.

I’m lowering my weekly mileage and hoping that my foot will heal for good. Of course, most runners are never 100% healthy. Just the way life is never 100% perfect. It’s supposed to be that way. We deal with problems.
