First off, hello to my new readers! <3 I feel like no one ever reads this blog except for my fam and a few others. It’s nice to know that someone out there is reading.

Do you ever feel like not titling your posts some days? I just can’t think of a title today! ha. Things are busy on this Alaskan’s forefront. I am about to leave for my Anatomy and Physiology lab in a bit. School is so fun and I really do miss it. It’s been hard to get things done this week as my mother in law is visiting us from Texas and I’m having to entertain while the geophysicist is at work. No chance to work on the resume at all yet.

Anyway, in running related news. Monday did 5 miles on the coastal trail – flat! Tuesday 5 miles in Kincaid park with Steve my running buddy. It was so hilly and I thought I was going to die. The uphill portion at the very end lasts for about 3/4 of a mile! Well, I know where to do my hill repeats now. Yesterday I took the day off and saw my PT. She taped up my knee and I’ll try it out today on my 6 mile run after class. On Saturday I’ll attempt 8 miles – the longest distance post injury. Marathon training starts Monday.

Also thinking of joining this circuit training class so I can get my core strength built back up again. I was so strong when I was training with Hai in Denver. I miss that feeling. I truly believe that my strong core help ward off injuries and improved my running form and times for my last marathon. Strong core is key people!  Write that down.
