Whoops

The garage door has been acting wonky lately.  Today I was leaving for work and it came down on top of the car.  I scraped a shit load of paint off the roof of the car and bent the hell out of the garage door.  Everyone is good at something.  I excel at fucking things up.

On another note, I’m still walking two miles a day.  I was running but I did something to my knee and it hurts to run so I decided not to push it and just walk.  I’ve lost ten pounds in the two or three weeks I’ve been doing it.  My calves are starting to look pretty awesome.  Also I’m accidentally getting a tan, I’m usually white as paper.  Must have been all the working nights and playing WoW.  Guess that’s what happens when you never see sunlight.  I’ve been pretty good about not getting burned until today.  My shoulders are a bit sore.

Earlier this week I saw a bird attack some dude at the track.  It must have a nest somewhere close by because it sits on the telephone wire and makes pissy little noises at everyone that runs by.  Then all of a sudden it swooped down on his head like three times.  I chuckled a little inside until the fucker did the same thing to me today.  Little retarded bastard bird.

Sunday was Bean’s third birthday and we went to my grandma’s house in Arma for his party.  While I was there I went to the track at the Arma high school and did my two miles there.  The Colgan track is much nicer, it’s prettier and cushier.  Except for the bird.  Anyway, the Arma track had a nicer view.  Fields and pastures and sky unobstructed by a shitload of wires.  I could have done without the barrage of memories from my agonizingly awkward years in high school, but there were a few good ones that came back to me too.  The air was so sweet there, with all the flowers.   I was going to see if Rebekah wanted to come with me but all the cars were gone so I figured she wasn’t home.

I got to see Sandy’s baby.  He’s so cute.  He looks so much like her.  AAAaand I learned that Nick is awesome at crocheting.   Maybe I can get him to make a roof cozy to cover up the unsightly gashes on the top of my car.
